Artistically designed. Environmentally crafted. The Arizona Game and Fish Department Headquarters (AZGF) is a model of beauty, efficiency and sustainability. Located north of bustling Phoenix, the building transforms employees and visitors with its 15-foot high glass rotunda entrance that reflects the warmth and beauty of the landscape. This state-of-the-art headquarters rises up from 20 acres of natural Sonoran Desert and is nestled at the foot of the beautiful Eagle tailed Mountains. The AZGF Department Headquarters is home to the state employees who are most passionate about wildlife and protecting the environment. It is only fitting that their workplace captures this vision of being the best in environmentally friendly design and development. The AZGF Department Headquarters is a LEED Platinum Certified building that is the embodiment of AZGF’s long heritage of providing access to and preservation of Arizona’s natural environment.

The facility’s three single-story, interconnected buildings total more than 117,452 square feet. The campus is comprised of a 82,154 square foot administration building, a 26,648 square foot pre-engineered metal laboratory/warehouse building and a 8,650 square foot vehicle maintenance building. The buildings are oriented to minimize summer heat gain and maximize the use of natural daylight and views of the surrounding desert.
